As you can see I knew a little bit about how night and day works.
But in the Picture bellow I know a lot more about how day and night works then the Picture above.
On the Wednesday all of the grade fours went to Warrina Aged Care.
When we got there we sang wall sing Matilda but it was the Queensland version they all loved. My class also sang Mulga Bill’s Bicycle and they loved it even better. Then the other classes sang their poems.
After that we got split and we went with one of the residents from Warriner. I was with Alex, he was very nice.
I asked him,how did you make your footballs when you were a kid? He said “with paper”. I also asked him what did you do on the weekend when you were a kid? He said he said “I went to the footy” ( AFL ).
It was a good day and I wish I had more time with Alex.

Organisations is one of the YCDI habits. Setting goals is one of the keys to being organised. There is a long term goal and a short term goal a long term goal goes for the hole term. Short term goals is like riding a bike from the bottom to the top of a hill.

We have been working on a hot wheels investigation and how next challenge is to build a bridge for the hot wheel to go offer.
Lauren’s grandpa came in to talk about bridge because he builds bridges for Puffing Billy. I learnt that to make a bridge you have to make it strong so the best way is to make triangles. with cylinders.
I’m too full but I can’t stop eating!!!
As you can see in my video we held the biggest morning tea for cancer that Milly organised because people in her family were diagnosed with cancer.
Did you know that only $5 can go towards research to find a cure for cancer? Just my little amount of money can make a huge difference.
$371 was raised, that’s amazing right!
On Monday the 18 we went to the grade 2 class room to do coding. The first 2 buddy’s I had we reached level 12.
Today we talked about setting a long term learning goal. My learning goal this semester will be about English, Mathematics and my learning behaviour.
My You Can Do It ! (YCDI!) goal is to improve my ability to be organised. I will do this by: tidying my tube often and put my stuf in the right document wallet, remembering to bring my iPad to school, keep my diary up to date and make my blog show all my learning.
In English I will be focusing on my reading. To do this I will get a clear picture in my head and collect evidence for my reading goal.
My effort in Maths will focus on my Times Tables. I want to be able to get my tens and two time tables all right in at least 2 minutes. I will practise on TT me and practise with Mum or Dad.
Great, an impossible challenge! Me and my group has to make a own metre lighthouse that has to survives the wind test.
My group made it it through but it was nerveracking after that I felt good.
I found some things about the first ever lighthouse.
On the next building challenge I will make a better plan and make the lighthouse shtrong.
